- Chop or dice the onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Don`t forget to wash where it is necessary!
- Heat the olive oil, fry the vegetables, add the minced meat and stew until crumbly.
- Deglaze with broth, add the canned tomatoes, season with herb salt.
- Cut the fresh herbs into small pieces and add, except for the basil.
- Also stir in the tomato paste and cover and let the sauce simmer over a mild heat for about half an hour.
- In the meantime, cook the Mafaldine or other pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
- Dice the mozzarella and cut the basil into small pieces.
- Add the mozzarella to the sauce - don`t let it boil anymore!
- If necessary, season the sauce again and serve with the pasta and parmesan! Sprinkle the basil on top.
- A slightly chilled red wine goes well with it!
- If you like, you can also serve black pickled olives!
- Tip: The sauce can be prepared the day before because it tastes even better the next day.
