Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion (s), red
  • 2 garlic, finely diced
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 1 can tomato (s), chopped (400g)
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 scoop mozzarella
  • Herbal salt
  • Hyssop, rosemary, oregano, thyme
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • basil
  • 300 g pasta, Mafaldine (Italian type pasta or other)

Instructions

  1. Chop or dice the onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Don`t forget to wash where it is necessary!
  2. Heat the olive oil, fry the vegetables, add the minced meat and stew until crumbly.
  3. Deglaze with broth, add the canned tomatoes, season with herb salt.
  4. Cut the fresh herbs into small pieces and add, except for the basil.
  5. Also stir in the tomato paste and cover and let the sauce simmer over a mild heat for about half an hour.
  6. In the meantime, cook the Mafaldine or other pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  7. Dice the mozzarella and cut the basil into small pieces.
  8. Add the mozzarella to the sauce - don`t let it boil anymore!
  9. If necessary, season the sauce again and serve with the pasta and parmesan! Sprinkle the basil on top.
  10. A slightly chilled red wine goes well with it!
  11. If you like, you can also serve black pickled olives!
  12. Tip: The sauce can be prepared the day before because it tastes even better the next day.
