- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Heat the oil in a roasting pan and fry the roast all over. Remove from the roaster, season with salt and pepper.
- Dice the potatoes, carrots and spring onions and fry them briefly. Pour 150 ml of malt beer and 100 ml of water. Add the roll roast again.
- Add sugar and vegetable stock.
- Turn the oven back to 180 ° C and cover the roast at 180 ° C for approx. 55 minutes. Douse occasionally with stock.
- Now increase the temperature to 225 ° C, cover the roast and gradually drizzle with malt beer for about 15 minutes.
