Ingredients

  • 1 kg roast pork (roll roast)
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • 150 ml malt beer
  • 100 ml water
  • 4 medium potato (s)
  • 600 g carrot (s)
  • 300 g sprin onion (s)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 50 ml malt beer
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • Cayenne pepper
  • rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Heat the oil in a roasting pan and fry the roast all over. Remove from the roaster, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Dice the potatoes, carrots and spring onions and fry them briefly. Pour 150 ml of malt beer and 100 ml of water. Add the roll roast again.
  4. Add sugar and vegetable stock.
  5. Turn the oven back to 180 ° C and cover the roast at 180 ° C for approx. 55 minutes. Douse occasionally with stock.
  6. Now increase the temperature to 225 ° C, cover the roast and gradually drizzle with malt beer for about 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the meat and vegetables, keep warm and reduce the stock a little. Season to taste with lemon juice, cayenne pepper and cane sugar.
  8. Serve the vegetables and sauce with rosemary.
