- 2 medium onion (s)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 250 ml malt beer
- 150 ml broth, clear
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- salt and pepper

- Peel the onions, cut in half and cut into fine strips. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions in it. Add tomato paste and sweat in it. Deglaze with the malt beer and the stock, simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Season the onion sauce with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Mix the starch with a little water and use it to thicken the sauce.
