Instructions

  1. Peel the red peppers, remove the stalk and seeds, cut into cubes (approx. 1 cm). Peel the mango, cut the core, also dice. Finely chop the garlic, dice the onions, sauté both in a little oil on a high flame (do not brown!).
  2. Add the mango and pepper cubes, vinegar, sugar and spices. Bring to the boil briefly, then simmer on a low flame for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. When the liquid is significantly reduced, add the raisins. Simmer for another 15 minutes until the chutney has the consistency of jam. Season again with salt and pepper.
  4. Goes well with fondue.
