Let the fresh marigolds dry for a few hours. Wash the orange and brush it under hot water. Then cut into slices and place with the marigolds in a jar with a lid. Add the vodka, sugar and spices.
Close the jar and place it on the windowsill for about 3 months. Shake it every now and then so that the sugar dissolves. The longer the approach, the more intense it becomes.
Then strain and fill into bottles. Let stand for at least 4 weeks before enjoying.
