The mashed potatoes must be cold, so the leftovers from the day before are very suitable. Finely chop the onion, garlic, eggs, mustard and spices in a blender or with a magic wand. Mix everything well with the minced meat and mashed potatoes, knead really well with your hands.
Moisten your hands and form small sausages out of the minced meat, taking approx. 1 heaped tablespoon of minced meat in the palm of your hand and shaping them. Then turn the meatloaf in the breadcrumbs.
Fry these either directly in the deep fryer or in a pan with plenty of oil until they are golden brown. Great for parties but also as a delicious meatball alternative.
