- Wash and clean the celery, cut off the tips, and leave the leaves on. Halve each stalk lengthways.
- Cook the celery in boiling salted water for 20-25 minutes until tender. Drain well.
- Transfer the drained celery to a baking dish greased with fat. Brush each piece with butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 15 minutes.
