Instructions

  1. Halve the cucumbers lengthways and carefully scoop out with a teaspoon. Place 3 halves in a suitable baking dish and cut the 4th half into small cubes.
  2. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a small saucepan and sweat the onion cubes until translucent, then leave to cool. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a saucepan, add the cucumber cubes and fry lightly, add half of the glassy onions and deglaze with the tomatoes. Simmer while stirring until a light crust forms on the bottom of the pot. Under no circumstances should it get too dark. Now immediately add the water, stir well and season with salt, a little pepper, 1/2 teaspoon dill tips and the granulated stock. Put the lid on the pot and simmer on a low flame for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the minced meat with the remaining onions, salt, pepper, 1/2 teaspoon dill tips and ground caraway seeds and fill the 3 halves of the cucumber. Pour the hot sauce over the stuffed cucumbers. If you like, you can of course also bind the sauce a little.
  4. Place the casserole dish in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 30 minutes. Take the pan out of the oven, cover the cucumbers with the feta cheese and place in the oven for another 15 minutes.
  5. Carefully place the cucumber halves on plates, serve with rice and sauce.
  6. The sauce and the minced meat should be seasoned well, as the cucumber absorbs a lot of flavor.
