Process the minced beef, the fried onions (save some of them for later), the corn grits, 4 tablespoon To shape patties.
Form 6 large, flat patties out of the meat. In the meantime, heat some oil in the pan. Fry the patties in it; initially at a high temperature. Then turn down the stove a little and finish frying the patties.
Cut open the burger buns. Brush the lower parts with a little ketchup. Place one lettuce leaf on each and cover it with a slice of cheese. Then place the patty on top. Put some of the cranberries on the patty and sprinkle with a few fried onions. Place the top of the burger bun on top.
