Here is a slightly different variant of the French classic: meat sausage gratin. The whole family likes it, but the little ones especially love it.
Cut the meat sausage (similar to the usual potatoes) into not too thin slices. Mix the processed cheese, milk and cream with the egg yolk, garlic powder and nutmeg.
In a baking dish, alternately layer the meat sausage, the mixed sauce and a little cheese. Save a third of the cheese for the top layer. Then place in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 180 ° C.
