Knead the minced meat, garlic, finely grated potato, egg and spices well. Shape the meat dough into balls approx. 3 - 4 cm in size and fry them in olive oil in a deep pan. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion and diamond-cut pepper pieces until the onion is translucent. Add the pizza tomatoes and herbs and season everything to taste. Add meatballs to the sauce and simmer while stirring until the sauce thickens a little. But the vegetables should still be crisp.
With rice as a side dish, it is a quick and tasty dish that is also visually pleasing.
