Thaw the spinach, squeeze it out a little and put it in a large bowl.
Peel the onions and garlic, cut into small cubes and sauté in butter.
In the meantime, cut the rolls into cubes and add to the spinach. Roughly grate the mountain cheese, add and stir everything well. Add the onions, garlic, eggs, and milk to the bowl. Season to taste with salt, pepper, chilli powder, paprika powder and herbs, but be careful, the rolls are already seasoned and the cheese is also rather strong in taste. Mix everything well.
Shape the mixture into meatballs that are not too thick and fry them in the pan.
The meatballs taste better cold than warm.
Tip::
Instead of the mountain cheese, you can also take Parmesan.
I take whole grain, sesame, poppy seed or normal rolls, whatever is there.
