Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (302°F). Add a small amount of oil to a non-stick pan and heat on high until the oil shimmers.
  2. Do not season the steaks before cooking, as this can cause them to dry out.
  3. Place the steaks in the hot pan and fry on high for 2 minutes on each side without moving or turning frequently.
  4. Remove the steaks from the pan, wrap each one individually in aluminum foil, and place in the oven at 150°C (302°F) for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the steaks from the oven and season with salt and pepper. If desired, top with garlic butter or herb butter before serving.
