Instructions

  1. Cut the melon (800g pure pulp!) Into large pieces and grind with a hand blender. Peel the ginger, cut off coarse woody parts, grate on the fine kitchen grater, grate the lemon and squeeze it out.
  2. Mix everything together with the preserving sugar and bring to the boil while stirring. Let it simmer for at least 4 minutes and immediately pour into twist-off glasses that have been rinsed hot.
  3. Close the jars and turn them upside down for 5 minutes. Then turn it over and let it cool down.
