Instructions

  1. Mix the pudding powder with approx. 8 tablespoons milk and 4 tablespoons sugar until smooth.
  2. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil. Stir in the mixed pudding powder and bring to the boil. Let cool down, stirring occasionally.
  3. Drain the cherries while collecting the juice. Mix 5 tablespoons of juice and cornstarch. Bring 300 ml of cherry juice and 1 tablespoon of sugar to the boil. Fold in the cherries. Season to taste with cinnamon. Let cool in a large bowl.
  4. Chop the chocolate. Whip the cream until stiff and pour in the vanilla sugar.
  5. Beat the pudding with the rum until smooth. Fold in chocolate, except for 2 tablespoon, and cream. Spread the pudding cream on the cherries. Sprinkle with pistachios and the rest of the chocolate. Garnish with cocktail cherries and mint if you like.
