- Put the milk can unopened in a saucepan with boiling water. There has to be enough water in it that the can is completely covered.
- Put the lid on and cook over medium heat for 2 hours.
- Then remove the can and let it cool down until it is lukewarm.
- Rinse an empty jam jar and lid with hot water, and turn upside down on a kitchen towel or crepe paper to dry.
- Open the milk can and mix the contents with the nuts in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture into the jam jar (the jar must be filled to the brim).
- Screw the jar on tightly and turn it upside down until the jam has completely cooled.
