Peel the carrots, cut into small pieces and cook in the steamer or pan until soft. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
Heat the olive oil in the pan. Add the minced lamb and sauté. Stir in onions and garlic and sauté briefly. Add the cooked carrots and toss briefly. Stir in the tomatoes and season with thyme, salt and pepper. Simmer on a low flame for 5 - 10 minutes.
Pasta, white bread and green beans also taste great with it.
