Season the minced meat with salt and pepper. Add the cream, water and breadcrumbs and knead well.
Cut the onions into slices. Put in a pan, lightly brown and simmer for about 10 minutes over low heat. Fold half of the onions into the meat mixture. Put the mixture in a greased baking dish. Spread the remaining onions on top. Bake at 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.
Mashed potatoes or simply baguette tastes very good with it.
