Instructions

  1. Rinse the mint. Scald with 500 ml of boiling water, cover and let stand for half an hour, then strain.
  2. Peel, core and finely grate the apples. Let it simmer for 4 minutes in the saucepan with the mint stock and the other ingredients. Then continue to cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes until the mass finally gels (make a gelling test every now and then). Then pour into prepared glasses and turn upside down for 5 minutes.
  3. Tip: You can also make this jelly in the microwave. First cook at 560 watts for 4 minutes, then stir and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir again and make a gelling test. If it is not enough, simply cook for between 2 minutes or another 5 minutes at the same wattage until the mixture has gelled.
