Instructions

  1. First, I seasoned the steaks with a little salt (not too much otherwise it will be tough), pepper, paprika and steak seasoning on both sides. Heat oil in a pan (the bottom of the pan should be completely covered) and fry the meat on the highest setting.
  2. When the meat is browned all over, add approx. 1/8 l beef broth and cook it with the steaks on the highest setting! When the broth is reduced and has a sauce-like consistency (after approx. 8 minutes), take the steaks out of the pan, wrap them in aluminum foil and place the parcel in the preheated oven to keep them warm.
  3. Now we add the drained mushrooms to the broth and fry them. Then the whole thing is extinguished with the cream, the cream is brought to the boil (don`t forget to stir) and the whole thing is thickened with a little dark sauce thickener!
  4. French fries, hash browns or dumplings with peas and carrots go well with this. A quick, inexpensive recipe which, at around € 4, doesn`t make a big dent in your household budget.
