Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F)
  2. Cut the puff pastry into 8 strips
  3. Finely chop the chilli pepper
  4. Mix the mustard with sambal oelek in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste
  5. Brush each puff pastry strip with the mustard mixture and sprinkle the chopped chilli evenly on top
  6. Place a slice of bacon on each prepared strip
  7. Fold the left and right edges of the pastry over the bacon and twist each strip into a spiral shape
  8. Sprinkle each spiral lightly with oregano
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown
