Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl, whisk with salt, add milk while stirring.
  2. Debark the toasts, halve the ham and cut to size. Divide each mozzarella into 4 slices.
  3. Soak each slice of toast in the egg-milk mixture, then squeeze out lightly.
  4. Cover eight slices of toast with a slice of ham and mozzarella each, as well as green pepper. Place a slice of toast on each, squeeze the bread together and turn it into breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat plenty of oil in a deep pan and bake toasts until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve finished toasts garnished with tomatoes and basil leaves!
