Instructions

  1. Knead the dough ingredients until they are smooth and wrap in foil and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Cut out stars on a floured work surface and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cut out smaller stars from half of the stars so that a ½ cm wide edge remains.
  2. This is best done on the baking sheet so that the edges do not warp when you sit on the sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° for about 10 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
  4. Heat the mulled wine jelly. Stroke a bit of it on the whole star and put a star edge on it. Dust with powdered sugar and fill the inner surface with mulled wine jelly. Use a toothpick to spread the jelly into the corners. Let dry overnight.
