Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms and cut into small cubes. Cut the garlic into very thin slices. Cut the onion into fine cubes.
  2. Heat the olive oil and add the onions. When the onions are lightly browned, add the mushrooms and garlic. Fry everything for about 5 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Mix the tomato paste with the sour cream in a small bowl. Add the mushroom mixture and stir everything together. Season to taste with cayenne pepper, herb salt and pepper.
  4. The spread tastes particularly good on wholemeal bread or farmhouse bread.
  5. This spread is also suitable for food combining, as sour cream and mushrooms are neutral.
