½ kg mirabelle plums, weighed and prepared

g suar, brown

chilli pepper (s), dried, ground in a mortar

tablespoon spice mixture, (Ras-el-Hanout)

small onion (s), chopped

small cloves garlic, chopped

ml vinegar, white balsamic vinegar

teaspoon salt

Instructions
Mix all ingredients and place in a sufficiently large saucepan.
Bring to the boil and then simmer over medium heat for about 1 hour.
Pour into prepared twist-off glasses and stand on the lid to cool.
