- Heat the oil and sauté the tomato paste in the pan.
- Add the tomatoes, add the vegetable stock and reduce a little.
- Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Season to taste with the mentioned spices.
- You can even let Saltimbocca (recipe in my profile) steep in this sauce.
- In the meantime, cook pasta (e.g. penne).
