Mix the butter and egg together, add the quark, slowly add the flour, semolina and a pinch of salt and knead everything well. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes.
Then form a roll out of the dough and cut into finger-thick slices. Flatten this in your hand, add an Ildefonso or other nougat mixture, form a dumpling out of it and let it steep in lightly salted water for about 15 minutes.
In the meantime, toast the crumbs and grated nuts together in a pan. When the dumplings are ready, toss them in the nut crumbs, decorate with a little chocolate sauce and serve warm.
