Put the flour in a bowl, add a little more liquid to freshly ground flour, make a well.
Dissolve the yeast with a little milk and place in the center. Cover with a little flour and let rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
Chop the nuts. I mostly use walnuts, but other types also work. I take the amount according to my taste.
Knead in the rest of the milk with the butter, sugar, egg and nuts and form small rolls. Place on a greased baking sheet and cover again for another half an hour.
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
Delicious with homemade jam, but also with cheese or just with butter.
