- Roughly grate the apples and mix immediately with the lemon juice.
- Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until frothy. Add the eggs and stir. Mix in more, cornstarch and baking powder and stir in.
- Drain the grated apple on a sieve, add to the dough with the nuts.
- Line a loaf pan (26 cm) with baking paper. Pour in the batter.
- Gas stove: level 2 approx. 60-75 minutes
- After half of the time, cover with parchment paper, otherwise it will turn too brown. Let the cake cool down and carefully turn it out of the tin.
