Ingredients

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • 200 g butter
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Roughly grate the apples and mix immediately with the lemon juice.
  2. Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until frothy. Add the eggs and stir. Mix in more, cornstarch and baking powder and stir in.
  3. Drain the grated apple on a sieve, add to the dough with the nuts.
  4. Line a loaf pan (26 cm) with baking paper. Pour in the batter.
  5. Gas stove: level 2 approx. 60-75 minutes
  6. After half of the time, cover with parchment paper, otherwise it will turn too brown. Let the cake cool down and carefully turn it out of the tin.
