Beat the butter with the sugar until frothy. Add the egg and continue mixing. Then add desiccated coconut, oat flakes, both types of flour, baking soda and baking powder and mix everything.
Shape the dough into small balls and spread them on a baking sheet (lined with baking paper). Press flat with a fork to create a pretty pattern. Bake at 180 degrees for about 12 minutes. Cookies should only turn light brown. Let cool on a rack.
Melt the chocolate and dip the biscuits halfway in and place on a grid. You can sprinkle desiccated coconut over it or leave it that way.
