Cut the onion into cubes and mix with the other ingredients. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Let the mixture steep for about 20-30 minutes.
Shape the meatballs and slowly fry them in a little oil in a pan.
Tip: You can use tender or crunchy oatmeal or a mixture of both. Possibly let the hearty pieces sit a little longer or add some breadcrumbs if necessary.
