Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar for 5-6 minutes at the highest level until foamy, then add water, oil, rum, grated citrus peel and salt and mix again. Mix in the flour and baking powder.
Pour into the greased form and bake for approx. 45-50 minutes in an oven preheated to 160 degrees.
Tip:
After baking for 20 minutes, you can sprinkle pitted cherries, apricots, peaches or berries on top. The cake can take a good 500 - 600 g.
