Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese and mascarpone with 1 tablespoon of garlic oil until smooth. Finely chop the vegetable onion and set aside about half of it.
  2. Briefly sweat the other half together with the pressed garlic in a saucepan with a little butter. Then mix into the cream with the raw, finely chopped onions and the fried onions until you have a spreadable mixture. Possibly use milk to stir until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Garnish with fried onions before serving. Serve with crackers or baguette bread.
