Wash the orange, rub dry. Cut the orange peel in spirals to decorate. Then cut the orange into wedges.
Put red wine, grape juice, orange wedges, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Let it steep for 15 minutes. Then bring to the boil again and add the liqueur.
Divide into glasses and decorate with orange spirals.
