Put all ingredients in a bowl and knead well together. Divide the meat dough into 6 - 8 equal portions. Bring these into an elongated shape and place around wooden or metal skewers, press down firmly and flatten them a little. Grill the kefta on both sides until they are browned on the outside and cooked on the inside.
Fresh flatbread and garlic-mint yoghurt go well with this.
