Ingredients

  • 500 g minced beef or lamb
  • 1 large onion (s), finely chopped
  • 50 g bulur, fine
  • 100 g feta cheese, finely crumbled
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley, smooth, finely chopped
  • 6 large date (s) without stone, finely diced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ coriander, ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chilli (Pul Biber)
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, pressed through
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and knead well together. Divide the meat dough into 6 - 8 equal portions. Bring these into an elongated shape and place around wooden or metal skewers, press down firmly and flatten them a little. Grill the kefta on both sides until they are browned on the outside and cooked on the inside.
  2. Fresh flatbread and garlic-mint yoghurt go well with this.
