Mix the dry yeast with sugar and water and let stand for a few minutes. Now add the remaining ingredients and knead well. Let the dough rise for about 20 minutes. Then knead again and form approx. 15-20 balls out of it.
Preheat a pan (preferably coated). Roll out the pieces of dough into very thin flatbreads (a piece of a broomstick is particularly suitable for this). Bake briefly on both sides in a hot pan without oil (until the bubbles that form turn brown).
The amount is enough for approx. 15 to 20 flat cakes.
