Mix the milk, yeast, sugar and salt until the yeast has dissolved. Now the flour on top and finally the oil. Knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30-60 minutes.
Knead the dough again (preferably with your hands) and form small balls (approx. 20-30). Briefly press into the desired grains (e.g. sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds) and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Personally, at the very end I take fried onions for 5-7 balls, which I knead into the dough before I form the last balls. Cover with a tea towel and let rise again while the oven is now preheating to 200 °. Before the party sun goes into the oven, lightly spray or sprinkle with water. Now put in the oven for 30-40 minutes (watch out! Note the experience of your own oven!).
