Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet, drain and rinse with cold water. Drain the peppers and collect the oil and save about 8 tablespoon. Roughly chop the peppers and combine with the chicken, feta, noodles, walnuts and basil in a bowl. Mix the saved oil with vinegar, mustard and garlic to make a dressing. Add the dressing to the salad and mix in. Let it steep for half an hour. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
