Leave the ham cubes in the pan. Peel and chop the onions. Then add and fry with. Add the sauerkraut, fry briefly and stir. Pour 1/4 l vegetable stock and let simmer for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
Occasionally stir the sauerkraut while it is braising. Finally stir in 1 cup of sour cream or crème fraiche and season with salt and pepper. Fold in the pasta and mix in. Serve hot.
