We start the preparation of pear meringue pie by dividing the eggs into yolks and whites. We send the proteins to the refrigerator.
Beat the yolks thoroughly with a mixer with powdered sugar, then add flour, soda quenched with lemon juice or vinegar, vegetable oil and water to them. We knead the dough.
Place the dough in a mold greased with butter and dusted with flour. We send it to the oven to bake at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
While the dough is baking, cut the pears into thin slices.
Beat whites with powdered sugar until stable peaks.
We take the cake out of the oven and put the pears.
Put the whipped egg whites on top of the pears and put the pie in the oven for 20-25 minutes so that the whites are browned.
