Wash and clean the peppers and cut into small pieces. Sauté in butter and oil in an oven-safe saucepan. Add the pear pieces, continue cooking for a while. Season with oregano and salt (or stock cube), pour tomato puree over it, put in the cold oven, bake for 1 - 2 hours at medium heat.
Scatter freshly ground pepper over the top at the table.
Good with millet and cream cheese. But you can also just eat a thick piece of good brown bread with it.
Since the pear pieces always keep their shape, this is also a suitable recipe if you don`t know exactly when to eat. For a long cooking time it is better to choose only 170 °, for the shortest possible 200 °.
