Instructions
- Cut the onions into small cubes, the garlic just a little finer. Sweat the onions in the oil until they are translucent. Now add the garlic and sauté briefly (the garlic becomes bitter and inedible if it cooks too long).
- Add the two cups of rice (basmati, jasmine or parboiled rice, no boil-in-the-bag rice!) And mix the whole thing.
- Add the bay leaves and allspice grains and then pour in the 3 cups of water. Finally, add enough salt until the water tastes salty.
