Wash the pods, pat dry and prick lightly with a needle. Chop the garlic and mix with the thyme and oil. Mix the pods and the oil mixture together well and let it steep overnight.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Spread the pods on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until they turn lightly brown and bubble. Finally, when the pods are done baked, sprinkle the salt over them.
