Grate the Emmentaler or Gouda. Chop the ham and salami into small cubes. Wash, core and dice the peppers.
Mix the natural yoghurt and the sour cream well. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Mix everything.
Cut open the bars and spread evenly over each half. Place the coated bars on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
As I said, you can also use souls, toast or sandwich bread or something else.
The Briegel is a regional, Swabian baked good, which is only found in the Remstal in an area of 15 kilos around Schwäbisch Gmünd (located in the Ostalb district, approx. 45 km east of Stuttgart). That`s the best way to do it.
