Instructions

  1. For the pizza dough, mix flour, yeast, a strong pinch of salt, approx. 150 ml of water and oil in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Let the dough rise for about 45 minutes and cover the bowl with a kitchen towel.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté in oil and add chopped tomatoes. Reduce the sauce over medium heat and season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 250 ° C (with convection to 220 ° C).
  3. Take the dough out of the bowl, knead again briefly and roll out on the floury worktop, depending on the size you want. The baking sheet must either be greased or you can use baking paper. Now you have to shape the edges into a bead on the baking sheet.
