Mix eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and rum extracts together. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and add 2/3 to the mixture.
In a heavy pan, 1 tablespoon. Heat the butter slowly. Add a slice of bread to the mixture for about 5 seconds on each side. Put the bread in the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (as many slices fit comfortably in the pan). After the underside is golden brown - turn and sprinkle the other side with cinnamon and sugar. When the other side is golden brown, remove from the pan.
Heat the plate in the microwave and sprinkle with powdered sugar (as a decoration), place 2 pieces of toast on top of each other in the middle. Place a teaspoon of butter in the middle of the toast and pour a little warmed maple syrup over it.
